A Vision Born Through Motherhood
Our story
A Vision Born Through Motherhood
My name is Patricia Odiase, and I founded Distance by O. in 2018, while pregnant with my twins.
What began as a personal vision has become a meaningful journey of entrepreneurship, motherhood, and cultural expression. As a mompreneur with connections to both Austria and Nigeria, I have always wanted to bring the best of both worlds together while staying true to my African heritage.
The mission
Celebrate Africa in the diaspora
Building a brand while raising my children has been a unique experience, filled with challenges, lessons, and growth. But through it all, my mission has remained the same: to celebrate Africa in the diaspora through distinctive fashion, meaningful art, and unique pieces that tell a story.
Distance by O. is more than a fashion brand. It is a connection between continents, generations, and identities. It is a reminder that distance may separate us geographically, but it does not have to disconnect us from our roots.
